The National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) successfully completed a dedicated training session on the PSC’s new Performance Appraisal Form on Friday, 13th February 2026.
The session was facilitated by officers from OPSC–VIPAM, Mrs. Adeline Konmawi and Mrs. Evelyn Masseng.
The session focused on strengthening staffs’ understanding of the revised Performance Appraisal framework, including the purpose of the appraisal process, performance planning requirements, supervisor and staff responsibilities, and reporting timelines. The training also provided practical guidance on completing the updated Performance Appraisal Form and ensuring consistency and accountability in assessments.
As part of the broader reform, the new Performance Appraisal Form will be integrated into the Smartsheet system in 2026. In preparation for this transition, the NSCS will continue internal coordination, staff awareness, and process alignment to ensure that its performance appraisal system is fully implemented, effective, and compliant within the PSC requirements.
