The National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) is pleased to extend a warm welcome to Mr. Philip Benedict as he joins the Secretariat in the role of Lead Analyst replacing Mr. Kalshem Bongran.
Mr. Benedict brings with him a wealth of experience and a strong background in public service, having previously served with the Public Service Commission (PSC) and the Ministry of Climate Change (MOCC). His work in these key national institutions reflects a proven commitment to public duty, strategic thinking, and technical excellence—qualities that will be instrumental in advancing the Secretariat’s mission of promoting national security, resilience, and coordinated policy planning.
In his new role, Mr. Benedict will be leading analytical work to support cross-sectoral policy development, national security risk assessments, and strategic planning initiatives. His insights and leadership are expected to strengthen the Secretariat’s capacity to respond to emerging challenges and ensure effective coordination across government.
The NSCS looks forward to the valuable contributions Mr. Benedict will bring, and we are excited to have him on board as part of our growing team.
Welcome to the NSCS, Mr. Benedict!
