At the Senior Pacific Female Leadership Seminar in Auckland, an important milestone was reached in strengthening women’s leadership across the Pacific region. The seminar brought together influential female leaders who are committed to advancing security, governance, and collaboration among Pacific nations.
The Vanuatu delegation was led by a distinguished delegation of woman from the Vanuatu Government, including
1. Madam Angelyne Glenda Roy, Vanuatu’s first female Attorney General and a seminar panelist.
2. Madam Roline Tekon, the National Security Advisor,
3. Sgt.Madam Magrette Manu of the Vanuatu Police Force; and
4. Madam Hannah Tari from the Vanuatu National Security Council Secretariat.
Their participation highlighted the growing presence and impact of women in leadership roles across the region.
The gathering underscored the importance of regional cooperation and the vital role women play in shaping the future of Pacific security and governance.
